efr801.jpg (14742 bytes)How many times have you wished you could adjust your engine for every weather change, every different situation that you have come across.  Well, guess what now you can.  Check out the EFR 801 Electronic Fuel Regulator.  What this is, is a fuel management system.  There are three parts to the system, 1.)  the EFR801 unit itself, 2.)  The temperature sensor mounted 1/4" from the mouth of the exhaust manifold &  3.) the fuel valve assembly itself.  What it does is constantly adjust the fuel mixture.  It reads the throttle position based on the signals transmitted from the receiver to the throttle servo, and it reads the exhaust temperature emitted from the engine.  If the engine is too hot it richens the mix up, if it is running too cool it leans it out.  How Cool!!  The EFR801 is hooked in-line between the receiver and the throttle servo.  Here is how it works.

.)   Hook the valve assembly in between the fuel supply line and the carburetor.

.)  Back the high speed needle valve out until the engine is sluggish, to where it bogs down when you give it throttle.

.)  Plug the EFR 801 into the receiver.  Then plug the throttle servo into the EFR 801.

.)  Drill a hole 1/4" (6mm) from the mouth of the exhaust manifold.   The mouth being the opening that mounts to the engine.  This hole is for the exhaust temperature sensor.

.)  From there the EFR 801 takes over.
